Book Review : Unwanted

The Book is ' OK '  . The book had a good start , nice build up of events and a sense of mystery in the beginning. But eventually the author cannot fulfill the momentum he created and it resulted in much disappointment. The book also too many similar character, too many similar infidelity(s) and most importantly every lot of stories behind every character which tires the reader. The same amount of characterization is not given for antagonist , in fact there's no    storyline for him. Even he wasn't given any opportunity to explain his part. Simply the characters made their conclusion and we have to believe that's the end of the story. So Disappointing.......

Review: The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest

No Complaints. Fantastic Book. Before starting the book, i had my doubts. Because at the end of the Second one, i felt there is no story for a third one. But somehow there comes the third and a good one  too

This book's story  doesn't have a good substance as the other two, but Larsoon somehow grinded out a story. Still , like i mentioned earlier the storyline is not that compelling but a page turner because its hard to believe on two counts.
1. Why would some soon to die guys will come back to close an unfinished chapter which is not at all critical to anybody
2. Why were the ' villains ' first set a trap go on to sleep and just surfaced in the climax to get caught ? Or Simply the villains were not in the book except for first and the last part of the story.
3. One of the reasons, i started the 3rd Book immediately after the second is because i wanted to know, How did Blomkovist knew about Salanders foreign Fund remittance and i still didn't get the answer.
I might never will....

As a Man Thinketh - James Allen

Let me start by saying ( Yes, a Disclaimer ) that this is NOT  a book review. This book, i feel , is too good to be reviewed or put under some simple analysis. This has to be read, learnt, understood , practiced , relearned and mastered .

There are very few books that will make you smile and also calm you nerves and bring peace to you , You would have read that a hundred times and it still craves for more and more.. And for me this is one such book. Every time  i read, i learn something and something new, I always wonder how did i missed last time .
This book is purely a philiosophical marvel . The best aspect is its simplicity . One has to just read , that's all, just read.Rest , the book will do .. Each time when i read, i feel it puts more information to comprehend for such little words

In To the Book now

Primarily there are seven chapters in it.. Starting with

1. Thought and Character
2. Effect of Thought on Circumstances
3. Effect of  Thought on Health and Body
4. Thought and Purpose
5. The Thought - Factor in Achievement
6. Visions and Ideals

Of the above , First chapter is an introduction to the main concept of the book , which is the  ' Power Of Thought ' . It explains what thought has to do with the character and its influence.

He says, '' Man is always the Master, even in the weaker and most abandoned state ... '' This is against common sense , for us everything is outside our influence . More so, when we are down and out, our common excuse is fate or bad luck but never us. But Allen shows exactly the opposite, even in Weaker state he says. So how could we could control things when we are weak ? Its one when begins to reflect his condition.

We'll reflect on this thought alone for now,  further later......
